Can-Am Netcare offers a number of options when it comes to locating residents in a facility from a general location, to a particular floor or wing or within a specific room (betwwen 20-30 ft).

The accuracy in locating residents depends on the number of receivers and optional software. The systems makes use of triangulation between the receivers to locate residents within 20 to 30 feet.

Code White Alarms

Can-Am Netcare can provide PSWs or Nurses with portable call buttons than autimatically send a "Code White" alarm when activated. These alarms are given priority and can be transmitted to pagers of your choice. The Code White alarms can identify the location of the staff member requesting help. Based on the Locating feature chosen as described in the above article Locating Residents the alarm can give a general location, a floor, a wing on a floor or within 20-30 feet.

Staff Needs Assistance Alarms

Our bathroom pull cords and bed staions come standard with an hidden staff needs assistance button. If upon arriving in a resident’s room, the caregiver requires additional help, a call for assistance can also be sent by pressing the hidden ‘staff assist’ on the top left corner of the pull cord or bed station – thereby automatically initiating a ‘staff needs assistance’ alarm at the monitoring station and transmitting the message to the pagers.
